WALKING AGAINST THE RAIN (UK, 2022)

Conceput ca un SF-Horror apocaliptic, Walking Against the Rain spune povestea a doi supravieţuitori solitari ce hălăduiesc într-o lume depopulată de un cataclism, încercând cu disperare să dea unul de celalalt, vânaţi fiind de creaturi non-pământene. Singurul instrument de comunicare între ei îl reprezintă nişte walkie-talkie ale căror baterii sunt pe moarte. Filmul e departe însă de a fi un tratament simplist a temei ‘oameni vs. monştri’, referindu-se în primul rând la valorile umane elementare pe care personajele le conservă cu obstinaţie prin intermediul dialogului prin radio.

WALKING AGAINST THE RAIN tells the story of two strangers, Blair and Tommy who are navigating their way across a barren landscape in a desperate attempt to find each other. With their only form of communication being two soon-to-die battery operated radio mics and with a new evil in the shape of ‘The Forsaken’ tracking them down, they must learn to confront loss and rediscover a trust in humanity.  With full body practical creature effects from BIFA award winning FX designer Dan Martin (Possessor, Color Out of Space,  In the Earth).
