Horror supranatural slow-burn bazat pe fapte reale (experienţe trăite de scenarist/regizor), filmat chiar în casa din ‘Deep South’ în care s-au întâmplat evenimentele. Un tânăr cuplu cu doi copii, tarat de moartea brutală în California al celui de-al treilea, se vede distrus odată cu relocarea şi mutarea într-o casă izolată din mijlocul pădurii. Filmul abordează inclusiv teme tipic “sudiste” (istoria sclavagismului, tradiţiile voodoo etc) într-o cheie modernă.
EN: A SAVANNAH HAUNTING is a film based on real supernatural phenomena the writer/director and his family experienced in their home in Savannah for decades. The film was shot on location at the actual haunted house. The filmmakers attempted to capture the subtle, creepy fear that afflicted the real residents of the home.
Director Biography – William Mark McCullough
Mark has been directed by multiple Academy Award winners and acted opposite many stars including Glenn Close in the Ron Howard drama, Hillbilly Elegy; Tom Cruise in the Doug Liman thriller, American Made; Channing Tatum in the Steven Soderbergh comedy, Logan Lucky; Nicolas Cage in the Steven C. Miller crime thriller, Arsenal; and Mahershala Ali in the Gary Ross drama, Free State Of Jones. Mark appeared in recurring guest star roles on the Fox series, LA’s Finest; the Netflix series, Sweet Magnolias; the Fox series, The Gifted and the PBS series, Mercy Street.
